Okay, so everything has a villain, wether it's a book, a tv show, video game, anime/manga, movie or any oher media form. I want to know which ones are your favorite! Heres my top ten. Be warned, this list has some spoilers to their repsective movies/books/whatever
10. Dr Robotnik/Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog
Theres a million different versions of this guy, but no matter how you look at him, he's as awesome as f*ck. He always manages to get the coolest voice actors, and he's a nut but still maganes to be threatening at the same time. Also wins the award for Best Mustache
9. Bowser from the Mario games
Despite how much of a jacka$$ this guy is, you can't help but love him. His overall oafness along with his stick-to-it-ness and major crush on Princess Peach, really makes him more Lovable than Hateable.
8. AUTO from Wall-E and Scar from The Lion King (tied)
AUTO is on the list because I despie him so, which is pretty much the point of villains, and because Wall-E is my all-time favorite movie. His programming was of evil intent, trying to destroy the plant, keeping the human race as chair confined blobs and nearly murdering Wall-E twice. Scar on the other hand, is so menacing and outright bada$$, with possibly be best musical number by a Disney Villain ever. This bastard killed his own brother, tircked his nephew into thinking it was his fault, took control of the throne and completely destoryed the Pride Lands.
7. Jafar and Iago from Alladdin
God, these two are a cla$$ic example of the "Pinky and the Brain" archetype of Villains, One is a cold heartless evil son of a b!tch, the other is also evil, but generally less so then the other and tends to fall flat on his face all the time. Jafar and Iago interacted perfectly with each other, and hearing them scream at each other near the end inside the lamp was hysterical. Makes me sad Jafar gets killed off in the sequel.
6. Venom from Spiderman
Okay, this is f*cking Venom, must I explain why he's so bada$$? He's huge, scary and he wants to kill Spiderman, and he manages to be awesome about it the whole time.
5. The Joker from Batman
My only real exposure to the Joker has been through Batman the Animated Series, and The Dark Knight. The B:TAS Joker just rocks, he's funny and still menacing at the same time, He's a combination of the two types of comic Joker, the crazed sicopath, and the harmless prankster. Heath Ledger's Joker on the other hand, has got to be the most piss your pants scary version of the Joker I've ever seen, with a top notch preformance that kept me from flat-out hating The Dark Knight. Kudos to Ledger.
4. Dr Evil from the Austin Powers movies
I love Dr Evil. Mike Myeres is at his best when playing the Doctor. He's just so totally imcompetent and not very evil at all. He's so bad at being evil, he's almost good at it! And everything he says is a f*cking riot "I have but one simple request for Sharks with fricking LASER BEAMS ATTACTHED TO THEIR HEADS!" Cla$$ic. "Lasers"
3. Syndrome from The Incredibles
Syndrome is amazing. He became evil because he was rejected by his childhood hero, Mr Incredible, and kills off all other heroes just to make a robot strong enough to face Incredible as revenge. How hardcore is that? Plus, watching him in action is a blast, ecspecally when he's geeking out over how Mr Incredible avioded the scanner by hiding under the bones of another Superhero.
2. Slade from Teen Titans (the animated version)
You don't f*ck with Slade. This guy is balls to the wall evil. He's got the most amazingly bada$$ voice, provided by the incredible Ron Pearlman. He's manipulative, he's got weapons, he's got an army of robots to do his bidding, turned the Titans (in the case of Robin, Raven and Terra) against each other, and he succeeded in planting Nano-probes inside the Teen Titans, and nearly destroying them from the inside out. Plus he was a zombie for a little while, which is also awesome.
Okay, now you may be thinking, Who the f*ck could beat out Slade, Syndrome, Jafar, The Joker, Venom and Scar? You ready for this? My number one favorite Villain:
1. Kamineko the Biting Cat from Azumanga Daioh
Thats right, The f*cking Biting Cat from Azumanga Daioh. I mean, think about it, he's small, cute and a godd@mned cat, does that sound evil to you?. Poor hapless Sakaki never saw those huge shark teeth coming. No matter how many times Sakaki tries, he bites, and when the poor girl finally decides to give up and leave him alone, the bastard comes to her, and starts attacking her, to the point where he gangs up every cat in the neighborhood to ambush her. The definition of the term "Looks can be deciving", Kamineko is my favorite villain of all time.
Honorable Mentions are Plankton from Spongebob, The BowlerHat Guy from Meet the Robinsons, Hades from Hurcules, and Sid from Toy Story.
Now that I've shared my list, I'd like to know your's. Lets discuss villainy!
