We never thought that everything would turn out this way,
I truly never meant to cause them all of this pain.
Nobody’s beside me anymore to tell me “everything will be okay.”
Torn apart, I can’t bring myself to tell him that I’ve destroyed it all.
“Everything will start again”; I recall the words they whispered last.
Raindrops hit the ground peacefully, I close my eyes and forgotten, I fall.

hey, that's really pretty. it's sotra got this peaceful thing to it, like someone is talking to themselves while looking outside a window. like an anime voiceover. And you rhyme very well, too; its really hard to rhyme without it sounding a bit alkward, or at least it is for me.
Like the title too. what's it's connection to the poem?

Thank you. =]
Winter is actually the narrator's name. I wrote it through his eyes as he wrote about an experience using the lettes in his name.
